BITUFLEX

is highly elastic, hot-applied penetration grade bitumen modified with a high percentage of an elastomeric polymer. The product is suitable for sealing cracks of medium to high activity with a width of 5-15mm. BITUFLEX will not flow at high ambient temperatures and will not crack during low temperature conditions.

APPLICATION:

Remove all dust and debris from the crack by blowing with high velocity compressed air. Weed killer can be applied in the crack at this stage if required.
Heat the BITUFLEX to a temperature of 130°C.

Apply the molten BITUFLEX with a specially designed applicator, or pour directly into the cracks with a small container. As soon as the BITUFLEX has cooled to ambient temperature, the area can be opened to traffic.
